May 31, 2007: Properly Update Exotic Beverage Reviews
I've finally finished (more or less) updating the Exotic Beverage Reviews archive into a format that sucks less. Hooray for PHP. There're still a few old reviews to update to the new format, but for the most part it's now a functioning part of the website. Please, go and read. I've also added a review of Red Lizard, an obscure drink I couldn't even find a mention of online! And it tastes plenty good. Enjoy!
May 8, 2007: Jugular Energy Drink
I've just added Jugular to the Exotic Beverage Archive. This one's entirely herbal and totally scary!
May 8, 2007: SearchString Comics
It's been a while.

So, someone broke the website. Oops.
Evidently someone managed to get into the database that held the majority of the contents of this website, and a few other things, and deleted pretty much everything. So, for the moment, I'm back to doing old-fashioned HTML updates while I waste my time dredging through Google caches of my webpages and hauling out the useful stuff for my own archives.
Here're some crappy phone photos of the latest haul of energy drinks, none of which have yet been reviewed:

Energy drinks ahoy! Here we have, from left to right, Battery, Hype, Red Lizard, Jugular, Red Eye Power, Speed Lime, Speed Raspberry, Speed Cola, Blox Orange, Blox Citrus, Scooby Doo, Catwoman, Batman and Scooby Doo again!

A few bottled entries, here you can see Irn Bru hiding off to the left, then Columbian Cola (oddly made in Australia, go figure) and Tasmanian Hartz Energy, alarming for being both blue and Tasmanian simultaneously.

Rots rat, Rooby? Renergy rinks?! ..not exactly. These are sodas enhanced with fruit juice. While not being energy drinks, they fit two criteria of obscureness and make worthy additions to the collection. The first criteria is that I've not yet encountered a cola enhanced with fruit juice. Fruit flavoured cola, yes - Cherry Coke, for example. This cola, which also features Batman's moniker and visage, is enhanced with apple juice. The mind boggles. Also, they feature Catwoman, Batman and Scooby. Which is nice.

Some randoms: Battery looks like a battery, Hype tastes like crap, Red Lizard just plain intrigues me, and Jugular is an energy drink containing neither caffeine nor sugar! One assumes it contains some kind of thermonuclear reactant chemical, or the urine of an amazonian insect.
Reviews when I can. Regards. Me.
